Mirecourt Violin labelled ‘apres Vuillaume' 1930s (OV240115)
Length of Back 359mm
This violin was made in the 1930s in one of the workshops in Mirecourt, France. It is finished in an Amber-Red varnish and is set up with Helicore Strings and a Wittner tailpiece.
The violin plays with a strong tone with plenty of volume across all four strings. It has been well played throughout the years and has some chips and scratches to the varnish, especially on the top. (There are no cracks and it is in good structural condition).
A good playing violin, ideal for an adult learner looking for an old authentic instrument for returning to lessons.
It comes supplied in a lightweight case.
