Dorfler Bows is a family business based in Bubenruth, Germany.  It was established in 1940 and their bows are based on the style of the French bow maker Tourte. 

This model is silver mounted.  The stick is octagonal and the ebony frog is inlaid with silver rings enclosing pearl eyes and the ebony  adjuster has two silver bands and mother of pearl dot inlay.

A bow with good response and suitable for a committed classical student.
