Mirecourt Violin of Guarnerius Design Circa 1920s (OV260228)

Length of Back:  360mm

This violin was made circa 1920s in one of the workshops in Mirecourt, France.  It is based on the Guarnerius design and is finished in a brown spirit varnish with reddish hues.  It features well chosen tone woods with excellent flame throughout.  

It is set up with Helicore Strings and a Wittner tailpiece and plays with great volume, warmth and sweetness. 

A nice violin to play!  Ideal for a committed player in either classical or traditional genres.

It comes supplied in a lightweight case.
