Mirecourt Violin from the Georges Apparut 1940 Workshop (OV24047)

This violin was made in atelier of Georges Apparut, a well respected French maker who employed various assistants. It is a Stradivari Model, finished in a reddish-brown spirit varnish and is labelled and branded internally with the GA Apparut label.
It has a warm, sweet tone with good volume and would suit an advancing student in the classical or traditional genre.
It is set up with Pirastro Strings and Wittner Tailpiece and is easy to play.
A nice violin from a great workshop!
It comes in a new lightweight case.
