"Mirecourt, French JB Vuillaume Copy Circa 1930 (OV260420)" has been added to your basket.

This violin is a classic example of the well crafted violins that emerged from the Mirecourt workshops at the turn of the 20th century. Labelled after the legendary luthier Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume, these violins were built as a tribute to the French master’s celebrated patterns.

Known for their robust construction and elegant aesthetics, Mirecourt instruments of this era are prized by intermediate players for their clear, powerful projection and reliable response. This violin offers the sophisticated tonal character and historical charm of the French school, making it an ideal choice for the advancing student.

It is finished in an Amber varnish and is set up with Helicore Strings and a Wittner tailpiece and plays with a resonant tone with plenty of volume across all four strings.   (There are no cracks and it is in good structural condition).
