Violin from the Amedee Dieudonne Workshop labelled E. De Cristofaro (OV22114)
The length of the back is 360 mm).
E. De Cristofaro Violins were good quality instruments made in the Amedee Dieudonne workshop in the 1920-30s. These violins were of good tonal quality and were very nicely made from excellent tonewoods. Thanks his one has a lovely two piece maple back and is finished in a beautifully applied honey-toned varnish.
The violin possesses a sensitive, resonant and sweet tone and is a great to play! Excellent for slower pieces, it has great balance throughout.
A great instrument for a committed classical student looking for sensitivity in their performances.
It is in mint condition and is set up with a Wittner tailpiece and Dominant strings.
Comes supplied in a new lightweight case.
