Mirecourt, Amati Violin circa 1930s (OV24041)

This is a great sounding German Violin of Amati design.  It is made from well chosen tonewoods and features a good two piece maple back which is finished in an amber-reddish varnish.  In good condition throughout as the pictures show.

It is set up with Helicore strings and Wittner tailpiece and possesses a resonant, deep, sweet tone.  It has plenty of volume and great balance throughout the four strings.  

A perfect instrument for a committed classical student looking for sensitivity in their performances or an established traditional fiddler.

It is in mint condition and is set up with a Wittner  tailpiece and Dominant strings.

Comes supplied in a new lightweight case.
