Mirecourt Guarnerius Violin circa 1930 (OV24053)
Length of Back: 356mm
This violin was made in the 1920s in one of the workshops in Mirecourt, France. It is based on the Guarnerius modelling and is finished in a Brown-Red varnish. It is set up with Helicore Strings and a Wittner tailpiece.
The violin plays with a resonant, sweet tone with ample volume across all four strings. It has lost some varnish on the top but is in good structural condition.
It is a very easy violin to play with a sweet refined tone! Nice for slower pieces.
It comes supplied in a lightweight case.
