Violin after J.B Vuillaume OV25021

This violin has been meticulously handcrafted and is based on the style of J.B Vuillaume who was one of the most influential French luthiers.  It features a beautiful one piece maple back with attractive flame and is finished in the distinct style of Vuillaume using an amber-red spirit varnish.  The scroll is finely carved with beveled turns and excellent channeling to the rear.   

The violin produces a large warm tone and it plays with ease.  It is set up with a Wittner tailpiece and Evah Pirazzi Strings, which results in a deep resonance and colourful overtones.   

A fine violin suitable for a professional musician or performer in either classical or folk genres.
