Orchard Violins, Ballymoyer

Mirecourt Violin by Laberte Humbert Freres 1927

This violin was made in Mirecourt, France in the workshops of Laberte Humbert.  It is in very good condition and is numbered and signed on the label.

It is finished in a brown varnish on a golden ground.  The scroll is very neatly cut and the rosewood pegs are gold tipped too.   It is set up with Spirocore strings and Wittner tailpiece.

The tone is warm and sweet with a great volume.  A lovely violin in mint condition suitable for a committed classical student.

(Comes supplied in a new lightweight case).
